Restaurants in Niseko
The Barn
Brett and Takoya, former owners of the legendary après-ski bar, Wild Bill's, opened this beautiful barn-style restaurant to feature French cuisine classics with a Hokkaido-style twist. Think steak tartar served with mountain wasabi, smoked radish, lemon and mayonnaise and sushi filled with foie gras. The lofty space even has a post-dinner bar above the kitchen, serving a selection of French and 'new world' wines, alongside local Hokkaido craft beers. Their late opening time means their happy hour is from 10-11:30pm.
During the winter, The Barn is open as usual for dinner from 5:30-10:30pm. This lively bistro is a popular option in the evenings so it would be wise to book well in advance. Their menu is available in English on their website.
